New Delhi.

Embassy of Mexico celebrated it’s National Day (September 10) in very unique way. Ambassador of Mexico in India participated in Dwarka Half Marathon, Delhi organised by coach Ravinder Singh.

Ambassador of Mexico Melba Pría reached at the venue on her lovely much popular eco friendly white autorikshaw to participate. The Dwarka Half marathon & Charity Run is an event that sets the tone for upcoming ADHM every year. It is also a special event for less privileged elite runners who get the chance to showcase their talent and get rewarded for it. The top 10 such runners from half marathon category will get registrations fee for ADHM 2017. The Dwarka Half marathon & Charity Run, in its 5th edition was very successful. Event started from DDA Park, Sector 11, Dwarka Road No 203, New Delhi.

Ambassador of Mexico is very supportive for the event and she did Marathon last year on National Day also. During 2016 Marathon, Ambassador Melba Pria said that the idea with ending the National Day celebrations in Delhi with the marathon was to close the community together. Ambassador is known for being an eco champion for going around Delhi NCR in a CNG autorickshaw. Her white auto is a major attraction, even people clicking selfies with the auto.

During her extensive professional experience, she has also worked for the Mexican Social Security Institute, promoting policies for underdeveloped areas and indigenous communities. Ambassador Pría is the author of numerous texts and books.
