The Embassy of Kazakhstan to the Republic of India organised a grand celebration to solemnize the 27th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Imperial Hotel, New Delhi on 4th Dec.
His Excellency Mr Bulat Sarsenbayev and Mrs Aigul Sarsenbayeva welcomed the guests with benignity, which included diplomats, officers, representatives from business, education, culture corporations Delhi and people from Indian civil services and media. The event had melodious Kazakh music and dance with delicious authentic Kazakh food.
In an interview given to the Diplomacy Today, Mr Sarenbayev mentioned, “Indian-Kazak relations were established 26th years ago in February 1992 during the visit of the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, which was the first visit abroad, since then both the countries have seen growing trade, friendship and cultural ties.
Kazakhstan attained its independence on 16th December 1991 and was the last to declare independence from USSR. Kazakhstan rapidly became a leading country in the Commonwealth of Independent States with its attracting foreign policies, ease of doing business and progressive governance.
